Animals of Nepal

Learning Objective:
Identify and describe the components of living things.

Teacher Directions:
There are many different types of mammals found in the Mt. Everest region and Nepal. Each animal has certain components that help it survive in the environment and behaviors that help it contribute to the environment as well.

Research some of the following Nepal animals. In column one of the Chart, write the name of the animal. In column two, describe the physical characteristics of the animal that helps it survive in its environment. In column three, describe behaviors of the animal that help it contribute to the environment that has a positive impact on other animals.

After completing your research, write a paragraph about your favorite animal describing its physical components and its behaviors that help other animals in the environment.
